Super easy, fun and yummy -- this hot tender grilled corn on the cob is a summer favorite!

Yield: 

6 servings

Ingredients: 

6 ears of corn (in the husk)
Salt, pepper, and butter, for serving

Instructions: 

1. Rinse ears to remove any dirt, and then soak ears in cool water for 10-30 minutes. You can do this in a clean sink filled with water, or a large bowl of water.

2. While ears are soaking, preheat grill on high. Remove corn from water and pat or shake gently dry.

3. Place ears of corn on the grill and turn heat to medium. Grill for 15 minutes (lid closed). Turn ears once and grill 15 minutes longer (lid closed).

4. Remove ears from grill (use oven mitts or tongs!) and allow to cool for a few minutes. Peel back husks and break ear away from the husk. Serve hot with butter, salt, and pepper!

Additional Notes: 

The husks should easily peel back from your corn, making it quick and easy to serve! :)

Here are instructions for cooking corn on the cob on the stovetop (boiling), which is quicker when doing larger amounts of corn. :)

Grilled corn on the cob is SO easy! I like to grill the corn first, since it takes 30 minutes or so, and then after the corn is off, grill some fish or meat for the rest of the meal.

Grilled corn on the cob is much easier than husking and boiling the corn, but the downside is that only about 6-8 ears of corn will fit on our grill at one time.

But, it keeps the heat out of the house in the summer and the work of husking is non-existent! :)

So easy

I used to grill corn different ways.This is so easy.We have had it this way 2 times now.We had my cousin over for dinner yesterday and he loved the corn also.Thanks for sharing another great and easy way to make dinner easier.

I love grilled corn

I love grilled corn. The only variation that I do from this, after soaking, I peel back the husk and brush with a little olive oil & occasionally assorted spices, then put the husk back in place and grill. I like the flavor it adds.
