Tender green beans tossed with thyme and fresh minced garlic

Yield:

4-6 servings

Ingredients:

1 pound frozen green beans (French cut or regular)
2 Tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon oil
1 large garlic clove, minced

Instructions:

1. Place frozen green beans, water, and thyme in large non-stick skillet. Cover and cook at medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, for about 8 minutes or until thawed. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking, covered, for several minutes or just until tender. Drain off excess water, and stir in salt.

My children and I loved this recipe! We had been eating so many green beans from our garden, and this was a welcome change of taste! Loved the garlic flavor. Easy and tasty.
