We love pizza![]() We love pizza. Joshua made this yummy deep dish pizza last week! We're having guests tomorrow, and pizza is on the menu. Oh, I can't wait... I may feel guilty about serving hot dogs for dinner, but I never feel guilty about homemade pizza. It's just so tasty! And of course, we're having asparagus with ours. Its the yeast you buy in bulk at Sam's. Its called Instant Dry Yeast, you toss it with flour and let it sit for 30 seconds. I haven't had luck blooming it in hot water, because its meant to bloom with the flour. I have learned that if you yeast or flour is cold from the fridge, it doesn't work very well. Yum, that's what we had for dinner tonight! We bake ours on a square pizza stone and have started folding the edges of the crust over thin slices of sharp cheddar cheese and pressing them down to create stuffed-crust deep dish pizza. So yummy! We love your recipe :) Hi Tammy! I didn't know you could buy yeast in bulk at Sam's Club. I'll have to look into that. I've been buying mine in the small bread machine yeast containers. Its not cheap that way. I use alot of yeast too. Thanks for the tip guys. You gotta love pizza, its quick to make and cooks up fast. A fast hot meal in 30 mins. Blessings, Post new comment |

Looks good! I went to the recipe post... the video is great! :) I didn't know you could add yeast along with the ingredients instead of dissolving it in water first.
