Outdoor getaway

Eating lunh on the porch

Our Spring has been exceptionally cool thus far. We've only recently had a few days in a row where no jacket was needed for playing outside. :) Of course, the boys hate to come indoors for anything when it's that nice outside.

I like to extend their playtime in the fresh air by serving lunch on the front porch steps.

Peanut butter and honey sandwich

Peanut butter and honey on wheat bread makes a quick lunch.

Doggie sits beside Yehoshua

Doggie, who is too noisy to be used indoors, makes a good pet for sunny days. After playtime, Doggie (along with a few other toys) gets put safely away in the garage for the night. :)

We have been enjoying the warmer weather too. The children enjoy playing outside and Benjamin doesn't like it when the older ones want to come in. He still wants to be outside. :) Your boys have sure grown! ~Tanya - mama to 5 :)

Oh that sounds so lovely!! It's been incredibly hot here. A few days ago it was 105 degrees. It hasn't gotten much cooler either. We've been staying inside mostly.

I like that idea on the toys! I can think of a few toys that I would love to keep for outside time. ;-)

That little dog is so cute. My two year old has a little dog as well. She likes to make it go down the slide. Those little croc type shoes are wonderful for backyard play. The children use them all the time because they are so easy to rinse off. It's so good for them to get out in the sunshine after a long winter. :)
