These were great! But they smell pretty bad while baking!

I made them when my sister and brother-in-law were moving to have out for helpers to grab and eat. While they were cooking, one of them came over to me and asked if something was burning. I laughed and said, "No, it's just an experiment in the oven!" Later, after they had come out, he grabbed one to try it and, reaching for more, remarked on how good they were, asking what I did to make them.
