I don't think I can even count the times dinner has been rescued by my husband's grilling skillz in the past month! Somewhere amid fun walks to the park, trips out to the clothesline, garden maintenance, changing diapers and schoolwork, menu planning has been on the light side around here.
With summer vegetables, it's easy to throw together a meal with grilled chicken or beef or turkey and lots of veggie sides -- and fruit!
We love our Weber Q grill. (Here is a review that Joshua wrote about his grill 2 years ago.) After 4 years of heavy use, it's still going strong! And having a grill (and a husband who loves grilling!) has been a lifesaver for me at times. Literally. I mean, we have to eat to live, right? ;)
Are there any other Weber grill fans out there? I'd love to hear what model you have and any comments about its performance! :)

Weber Q 100
Love, love, LOVE my Weber Q 100! I have one of the big honkin' Weber grills but since I got my Weber Q, I haven't even taken the big one out of the garage!
Grill
We love to grill. However, I am the one that does most of the grilling. I always feel bad asking my husband to grill after he comes home from a long day of work. So, I have been doing most of the grilling over the last few years and I enjoy it. I also find that we use it more, usually doing the summer we grill several times a week.
We love our Weber!
We just bought a Weber grill this summer, after our previous grill stopped working.
I have to say...we just LOVE it! The heat is much more even and so much hotter. The surface area is quite a bit larger, so Dh always wants to save gas and fill the whole grill. It has been challenging to have that much meat to cook at once.:) A salad with a cold grilled chicken breast is wonderful the next day though.
I think Dh sees the grill like a new car. He wipes down the stainless steel like he's cleaning a sports car. LOL!
I'm a HUGE Weber Fan!!!
Tammy, My husband bought a Weber Gas Grill (I think it was the Genesis model) a few years ago (5 I think). We also have a baby Weber charcoal model for our camper. We grill at least 3 times a week, year round. I only wish it was bigger - we have five kids and when we grill for company, we usually have to do two batches. I can't tell you how many people we have talked into buying Weber Grills, and we even bought one for my husband's parents. Everyone we have encouraged to buy one is very happy with it. My husband won't call it "the grill", he refers to it as "the Weber", he now has a Weber hat and two Weber shirts, and our vacation plans for sometime in the next couple of years include a trip to the Chicago area so we can visit the Weber factory. We are HUGE Weber fans!!!!
Looks good!
That dinner looks good! Once in awhile my husband rescues our dinner (or me from cooking) and grills too! He's good at it and I love it! :) He better be since he collects Weber grills! Seriously. I think we have 6....he sold 2. LOL!
I love my Weber Q 220 Grill!!
Dear Tammy,
I love my Weber 220 grill and use it at least 3 times a week. In fact, I grill my entire meal on it (grilled chicken or beef and vegetables). I live in southern California so I can grill outdoors all year. I also purchased the Weber stationary cart which includes the adaptor hose for the 20 pound propane tank. I love it!!
Feel free to read the reviews at www.amazon.com!!!
Oh, wow, I guess we could
Oh, wow, I guess we could almost start a Weber fan club here! :)
I loved the comments about the grill = a new car... and it not being "the grill" but instead "the Weber"! :)
Now, I just need to find out if I'm supposed to be saying "Webber" or "Weeber".
;)
That tomato
looks so yummy bright red!The whole sandwich looks good.I love it when my husband will cook on the grill and I don't have to.
Weber grillz
Believe it or not, all because of this site, we received the exact grill that Josh has for our wedding. After reading his review, and some late night chats about how great it is, I decided I had to try it myself. It's now chained to a giant post on our porch (we live in an apt, and someone has already tried to steal it), but we LOVE it. It's perfect for the two of us... I don't know how Josh manages to cook for 5 on it! Time for an upgraded super-deluxe family model??? :)
Hmn... ours seems plenty
Hmn... ours seems plenty big! This past week Joshua grilled 3 pounds of chicken breast on it (all at one time) for some friends and us at a picnic. :) It's great having a grill that fits in the trunk of our (mid-size) car, right along with the stroller! :)
I guess we just aren't eating the 20-ounce steaks that you and Megan like. ;)
