More mini-bread fun!

Mini loaves of bread made the cutest slices of French toast!

Eliyahu and Yehoshua loved eating these. They were more bother to make, which is how "mini" versions of things usually are, but it made for a fun breakfast! :)

Neat

Mini loaves

After your last post about the small loaves I started baking some of my bread that way too, WOW! what a hit. I have a Pampered Chef mini loaf pan w/4 so that is just right. I also have been enjoying your bread recipe. I had found out that a teacher of my daughter's Cubbies club has gestational diabetes in her last trimester of PG and can only have XXX amount of carbs per day so I gave her a loaf and it was just the right serving. thanks for the ideas. french toast

I thought I would say how I make french toast. I usually mix one egg with about 1/4 cup milk and 1 tsp vanilla. Increase the eggs/milk/vanilla if you need more servings. This mixture usually does about 3 pieces of regular bread. Simply dip the bread into this mixture and fry in a skillet with butter, 2 minutes on each side or till golden brown. Serve with syrup or as desired. YUM.

Yummy and Adorable, all at the same time!

Whats not to love about cute little pieces of french toast. Your children are lucky to have such a patient momma!

Making French toast

My mini loaf pans were from Wal-Mart, I think... they're non-stick ones.

For my basic French toast, I scramble 1 egg per slice of bread. I dip slices of bread and liberally coat them (they're dripping when I start frying!) and then brown on a hot (greased) griddle.Any leftover egg, I fry at the end on the griddle.

I know that sounds really simple, but that's how I like my regular French toast! :) I do have a Challah French Toast recipe that's fancier. ;)
