Easy banana pancakes

Whole wheat banana pancakes

Some extra ripe bananas combined with a 5 year old willing to cook makes for a fun breakfast of Whole Wheat Banana Pancakes! :) With minimal help, Yehoshua mixed up the pancakes and I cooked them while we all took turns eating them hot off the griddle. :)

The soft, hot banana slices in these pancakes makes them delicious even without syrup or fruit topping. It's also a lot less messy!

Ruth enjoys the pancakes!

Ruth used her fork while the boys ate with their fingers! :) She loves to use silverware.

When we do use syrup on pancakes or waffles, we love homemade brown sugar syrup or Joshua's apple spice syrup! :)

I just bought some bananas

I just bought some bananas marked down at the grocery store last night. I'll have to give your recipe a try.

Ruth is precious!

Cute, cute! My mom always

Cute, cute! My mom always said that I loved to use silverware--even for things like sandwiches--so maybe it is a Ruth thing.;-)

Great Breakfast!

I made a batch if these for breakfast today and they were yummy. I used the cornmeal, added 1/4 cup of oatmeal and diced the bananas. The kids ate them up and have been snacking on them. Thanks!

ahhhh!

What a little angel! She's such a pretty baby!
Looks like she's going blonde on ya mom!?!

Oh and the pancakes look good too! ;-)

Excellent breakfast!!

Your banana pancakes look superbly tasty!!

Yummie all the way,...

Breakfast Tomorrow!

We'll enjoy trying these tomorrow morning; I'll freeze any leftovers for when school starts. A person can only eat so much banana bread, so it's nice to be reminded of other yummy options. Thanks for this recipe. =)

They sound scrumdiddlyumtious!

Sorry, watching Willy Wonka at the moment. LOL

I just discovered your site, and have been happily discovering sooo many delicious and simple sounding recipes! I can't wait to try them! I found you when I was searching for menu plans, and you have helped me get started with that, so thank you!

What I like most about your recipes is that they are healthy and frugal, for the most part. That's a bonus!

I look forward to getting to know you!
