I made this with my two daughters, and was somewhat unprepared for the flying whipped cream, which they thought was hilarious. However, I found it a nice, easy dessert, since I used canned topping. My husband liked the taste, but felt the texture could be firmer. I personally liked it, but would've left the cherries off. This may be because I am not a huge cooked cherry fan, though. Still, it was sweet, easy and pretty.
