| Oh. My. Goodness. These are one of the best cookies I have tasted. Ever. I mean, mixing shortbread and cranberry sauce together - it couldn't be any more perfect, in my opinion! I'm planning on putting together a couple of batches for the freezer, so they're ready to make whenever there's a need. I've always been kinda afraid of roll-up type recipes, but I had no problem at all with these as the shortbread dough rolled very easily. :-) The cardamom adds a poignant flavor that adds nicely to the tangy cranberry filling. |
