What type of drinking water do you prefer?

Reverse Osmosis, for sure!

I used to just love good well water, and couldn't understand why someone would want to drink filtered water. But then we moved to a town with horrible tap water (especially for drinking!) and started buying gallon jugs of reverse osmosis water to drink (and refill).

Now, we're used to having high-quality water and can really tell a difference in waters. My sister made me a cup of tea with their well water and I could tell immediately! I used to be able to drink most any water without even telling the difference!

I voted well water, but I

I voted well water, but I have to clarify. =) I like our well water. Our well is very deep (around 300 foot) and I like it. Much better than even bottled water.

Just a note about distilled water, I've heard/read that it actually pulls minerals out of your body so I'm leary of drinking it.

Distilled water and minerals

I'd love more info about that! I think I may have heard something similar in the past. I wonder how significantly it leeches minerals from the body, and what the best balance of minerals in water would be. I don't have a problem with drinking water with minerals, but I do know that some waters have things in them that can cause arthritis, carpal tunnel, etc. in certain people. So I wonder what the BEST water is! :D

I can't remember where I

I can't remember where I first read that....maybe in a Shonda Parker book? I just did a search online and there are some articles that you might want to read.

I was telling my parents about it, back when I first read about it, and my Daddy was telling me that at the paper mill he works at there is a pipe that distilled water flows through, and it will actually pull the minerals out of the pipe.

So, like you, I don't know what is BEST, but I'm sticking with my well water for now.

Well...

I have drank distilled all my life until this summer we got a new fridge with the water/ice despencers and I think the water has some sort of a filter and it is ok, but I prefer distilled.

I voted city water but...

my most favorite water is regular Dasani bottled water. I like it because it tastes exactly like my tap water, which is the city water. Mmmmmmmm.

Spring Water

Our family drinks bottled spring water, but we're moving in a month. We're going to have well water there, so I wonder how that will be compared to the spring water that we're used to.

Reverse Osmosis Water

Our town water is terrible to drink! So we buy reverse osmosis water, the taste is just so good!! Water is the main drink in our family. :)~Tanya

I voted for RO water

We had a well but still needed the RO. The guy said it was either good enough or almost good enough for bottled water. It was actually "too good" (I still don't see how that is possible-LOL!) so we had to add something to it because it would, as mentioned above, start corroding the pipes because it was too pure.
We have to haul water when we run out(the water system is good "when" it works :P) and man do they ever put enough bleach in. Enough of my rambling. :)

Hmn, wow!

Now I'm wanting a good solution other than reverse osmosis water! :D OR city water, yuck! :)

"Now I'm wanting a good

"Now I'm wanting a good solution other than reverse osmosis water!"

Hmm, I must be really tired but I didn't quite get why you'd want something different than RO?

Because...

...you said it eats the metal pipes! And referred to LeAnne saying it leeches minerals from the human body! :D Yes? or no? :)

I think though as long as it

I think though as long as it isn't "too" pure the water is "good" because it won't eat the pipes then. I'd have to ask Dad though because he knows more about the water stuff here. :D

City water

The water in my city taste really good because of the limestone in the ground. But spring water if you bottle it yourself from the source is good too.
