Washing dishes

We don't have a dishwasher, so I always wash dishes by hand. I do share the duty with Yehoshua (2.5) though! He rinses for me. :D

Combination. We run our dishwasher usually twice a day (once with breakfast and lunch dishes and then after supper) but there are still some to wash by hand. My sisters help though. :)

Combo...

We tend to run ours about 2x a week...otherwise, I do my best to wash by hand.

I voted for the wrong one

I missed reading the combination one! :( That is what I do, although lately I have been using the disherwasher mostly. Just depends how my day is going. :) I just will run it once a day, all the dishes from the day usually fit and I just wash by hand the pots/pans etc...

With the 7 of us kids, we always wash them by hand. Saves on electricity. =) plus we haven't always had a working dishwasher.

Combination

We do both although I usually pack a full load in the dishwasher so there won't be as many to wash. :)

Wished I had a dishwasher

The joke in our home about dishwashers is we had 6 but they left home. I am still waiting to enter the 20th century and have either a maid or a dishwasher.

i AM the dishwasher....

:D that's the running joke around my house. if i'm sick or recovering from birth or something and the dishes stack up a bit, my oldest son jokes that the dishwasher is broken :P

by hand

But oh how I wish I had a dishwasher.. lol

Can't believe it...

I'm shocked that more people wash by hand than a dishwasher.

I dislike washing by hand. I'd rather run the dishwasher 4 times to get all the dihes done (ie: Thanksgiving or Christmas) than wash a dish/pot by hand.

We run ours about 3 times a day. After each meal, I have tons of bottles, nipples, and caps that need to be washed. I rinse the nipples out, but formula/cereal always seem to stay, so I have to run it in the dishwasher.
