Tammy's Review:

My mom has made this one-dish meal ever since I can remember, and it has always been one of my favorites. I think the vegetables, rice, and meat complement each other well, and it's easy to eat a huge plate of this rice medley! It's also an easy meal to make, and is a good use for leftover rice or beef. My rating: 10/10

It's funny, my husband and I make the same thing! I thought we were the only ones! Usually, we'll use mushrooms and green beans for the vegetables, though sometimes we'll use corn as well. I've also made it with zucchini and yellow squash and it was excellent! It really is a great, simple yet delicious recipe.

As a mommy of a 2 year old and 8 week old I am always looking for quick recipes for those days when I am strapped for time and energy. This was it!
I wondered if it would be flavorful enough so when I cooked the meat I added some beef boullion(sp?). This gave more flavor to it. Even the 2yo ate 3 servings!
